Urological Check-up & Preventive Healthcare
Comprehensive diagnostic services for your kidney, bladder and prostate health.

Good health is not a matter of chance, but the result of mindfulness and prevention.
Many serious urological conditions – such as tumours of the kidneys, bladder or prostate – develop over many years without any symptoms at all. By the time the first symptoms appear, the condition is often already at an advanced stage.
With a comprehensive urological check-up at our practice, we go far beyond the basic statutory preventive care services.
We take the time to assess your current state of health in detail using state-of-the-art ultrasound and laboratory diagnostics, to identify individual risk factors and to give you a reassuring sense of security.
Early detection, gentle treatment
A check-up is not intended for those who are ill, but for healthy people who wish to stay that way. A regular urological check-up is advisable for several medical reasons:
Detecting tumours without symptoms
Malignant changes in the kidneys or prostate do not cause pain in the early stages. Using high-resolution ultrasound and specific blood tests (such as the PSA test), we can detect changes in the tissue long before they become clinically apparent.
Maintain organ function
A gradual loss of kidney function does not cause any pain. Through precise laboratory analyses of blood and urine, we assess your kidneys’ filtration capacity and rule out chronic inflammation or silent urinary retention.
Assessing family history
If there is a family history of prostate, kidney or bladder cancer, you are at a statistically higher risk. A personalised screening programme is medically recommended in such cases.
Hormonal balance (men's health)
From the age of 40, a man’s hormone balance begins to change. As part of your check-up, we can, if you wish, check your testosterone levels and other vital signs so that we can address any gradual decline in performance or loss of vitality at an early stage.
What does our urological check-up involve?
We tailor the scope of the examination to your age, gender and personal medical history. A full check-up usually consists of the following components:
Detailed medical history & consultation
We take the time to have an in-depth consultation with you. We will discuss your medical history, your lifestyle, any family history of health issues, and any current symptoms you may be experiencing, even if they seem non-specific.
High-resolution ultrasound diagnostics
At the heart of modern urology. We carry out detailed examinations of the kidneys (for tumours, cysts and stones), the bladder (including residual urine measurement) and, in men, the prostate and testicular structures. Completely painless and with the highest image quality.
Specific laboratory analysis
As part of our urological screening programme, we carry out comprehensive urine and blood tests, including a detailed urine analysis and a wide range of relevant laboratory parameters.
These include, amongst others, kidney function tests, inflammatory markers, metabolic parameters and, for men, PSA levels including free PSA.
The selection of parameters is tailored to your individual situation and preferences and can be specifically expanded.
An evaluation in line with clinical guidelines is carried out based on clinical experience to ensure a well-founded assessment and personalised prevention.

Who would benefit from this examination?
People often wait until it is too late to seek urological screening. Yet it is equally important for both men and women.
For men: We recommend an annual basic check-up from the age of 45. If there is a family history of the condition (prostate cancer in a father or brother), screening should begin as early as the age of 40.
For women: Regular ultrasound scans of the kidneys and bladder are also an important part of preventive healthcare for women, as kidney tumours can occur in both men and women and are often not detected until at a late stage.
For working people: Our check-up is designed to be efficient, with no long waiting times, and can be discreetly fitted into your working day.

Clarity brings peace of mind.
Once all the tests have been completed, we will discuss the results with you openly and on an equal footing. Should any abnormalities be found, we will plan the next steps together. Book your appointment now for a comprehensive urological assessment.
